Description:
Step into the fiery inferno of an 1980s college party in Hell, where demons strut in neon spandex, rock mullets, and wield boomboxes blasting infernal synth-pop. Amidst flickering flames, there's a John Hughes-esque clique dramasatanic jocks, rebellious punk imps, and misunderstood outcasts. A mischievous imp, resembling a lost Goonie, plots to outsmart hell's version of the Breakfast Club. Amidst the haze of brimstone, a romance sparks between a devilish heartthrob and a fiery rebel, echoing the star-crossed lovers of Pretty in Pink. As the night unfolds, infernal beer pong tournaments clash with diabolical trivia games, akin to a Hellraiser spin on Revenge of the Nerds. And just like in any classic 80s movie, there's a race against time to outwit the devilish dean and avoid eternal detention in the depths of Hell.

Arkham Noir is born out of a Reddit post about demand for two-hour Cthulhu games and my experience running Call of Cthulhu at Gen Con 2023. A while back the Chaosium demo games were scheduled for two hours and demand caused an increase to four hours. Now with more new players Cthulhu curious it seems the time to bring back the two-hour demo. Look for the PCs in one-act plays with mysterious settings and NPCs with dubious motives all set in Arkham, Massachusetts, the home of Lovecraft country. Great for 5e players looking to try a different game!

It is 1974. The Grand Ole Opry is moving from The Ryman Auditorium to its new home at The Opryhouse across town. A select number of Country Music Stars have come, in secret, to the new building to perform a ritual to sanctify the new "Temple of Country Music".
