Take your unit into the Hinterlands to win fortune & glory. Opportunities aplenty on the planets around the hiring hall on Almotacen. Lead your mercenaries through chaos & build a reputation.
Description:
The CDT BattleTech: Contracts rules are designed to allow players to field their own force using the campaign rules showcased in the Mercenaries box set and the Hot Spots series. It will function as a Living campaign style game, but for player-created mercenary forces rather than individual characters. Players will create their mercenary forces using the rules found in this document, individually negotiate the terms of the contracts used for the season, play games against opposing Mercs (other players), and track the finances and success of their company. This setup will allow continuity, consistent play experience, company development, and most of all attachment to an individual players mercenary company.
Come test your ability to guide a Battletech force from Solaris VII up to larger pitched battles. To experience using both Classic Battletech and Alpha Strike, come join us!
Description:
Welcome to Battletech: Escalation! As a budding MechWarrior with aspirations of being something more, you'll move from piloting your singular mech in one-on-one âMech madness all the way up to combat with your full company of the best and brightest (or whatever you happened to scrounge up at the local dive bar). Compensation for fulfilling scenario objectives may translate into unknown rewards, but this may not be enough if you run into opponents with the latest and greatest technology. Will your tried and true units stand the test of time to see the triumph of the Clans in the ilClan era or will your units simply join the rest of the machinery heaped up in junkpiles around the Inner Sphere. Come test your breadth of Battletech savvy in Battletech: Escalation!
Our most popular casual event for all ability levels.
Description:
You start with the lowest level mech with the most basic equipment. When you die you move up to the next level which contains mechs with slightly more advanced equipment. Through this progression you learn how to use all the common equipment in Battletech. This game is not paused or restarted at event breaks, we just add/remove players and collect tickets for those continuing then continue play without resetting the board or players continuing on into the next session. Sign-up for as many blocks as fit into your schedule (even if they are not contiguous), you will receive a report card as a way to sort of "save" your progress so you can come back later in the con and continue playing. All ability levels are welcome but if you have never played Battletech before it is recommended that you play Battletech Bootcamp first.
