Allies vs. Axis: With all kinds of rules and stuff!
Many "Axis and Allies" game suggestions/rule changes from the web have been added to make this "not your usual Axis and Allies Board Wargame." Though similar to Axis and Allies, this board war-game is more involved than most âbeer and pretzelsâ varieties, so what you plan to bring to the âbattle boardâ in a few turns is just as important as the number you roll for with the dice. This year thereâs a longer time slot provided to play. Also a different map will be used. Rules have been refined. Different units are added for air, land, and naval combat.

This will be a six-round single-elimination team tournament. Bidding for Allies will be used. Semifinals and Finals on Sunday morning. Please bring a copy of the game.GM Gregory Smorey.
You command the armies of Iraq, Iran, Egypt,Turkey, or the Soviet Union in this gritty, fast-moving Axis & Allies variant. Capture your enemy's capitols or oil resources to win. Random political events and modern weapon technologies add to the challenge. Played with basic A&A pieces and rules on a full-color Mediterranean-Persian Gulf map board.
