Description:
This is the first qualifying round of 2. This is the larger Axis & Allies Global 1940 game that puts the 2 games, Europe & Pacific 1940 together. It is a tournament and there are specific victory conditions and time limits that are not part of the OTB rules. You may bring up to 2 partners per side to a maximum of 3 players per side. If you are a solo player or a 2 player team, you may be paired up with another player or two to accommodate all players wanting to play into the event. Once a team has been selected, you may not change teammates at any time during the tournament. The tournament consists of 2 qualifying rounds. Then the 4 winning teams of the qualifying games play in the semi-final single-elimination round on Saturday and then those 2 winners play in the finals on Sunday. The final on Sunday starts at 7 am and can be no longer than 8 hours!
