30 years running, this is a single elimination, 1- or 2-player/team tournament. Bid to determine sides by bidding down IPCs from 84 IPC Victory Condition. Turn 1 Russia restricted.

The actual bid will be for a number of IPCs that the Allies will allow the Axis to win with an IPC victory. This number of IPCs is bid down from the original victory conditions of 84 IPCs. The Axis must now gain at least 79 IPCs by the rounds end of that turn to win the game. Russia Restricted Turn One. (Russia in not permitted to attack during their turn 1) and before the start of the game, the Axis will be granted 9 IPCs to buy units to place before play begins. Prizes to the top 2 teams in tournament.

Axis & Allies Anniversary Ed. (AA50) World Championships Final
Summary:
4th Rd. of 16 - 2 player team tournament. AA50 1942 setup will be used. No National Objectives or Bonus Income. Play is based on AA50 rulebook w/2nd Ed. errata. Bid for sides.

This is the second year for the AA World Championship but the first year that we will switch to the Anniversary Ed. (AA50) as the game of choice to determine the best players in the world.
