More & more games from around the world are entering the English speaking game market. This is a chance to play & learn some of these games; allowing for a discovery of different styles of play & design not typically seen in the U.S. market. Most Gen Con attendees are familiar with games by English-language designers. Many of us are even savvy when it comes to popular German board games. However, our experiences may not include games with a different look or feel found in gaming communities around the world. We might play games of one kind or another which bring us to a distant land or borrow unfamiliar themes - but how many were designed by someone from there? This is an opportunity for gamers to experience some of these games from around the world, bringing together a sampling of what gaming is like outside of our usual community.
