Participants will learn & practice techniques for working with EVA foam. Each participant will leave with an armored helmet they will manufacture during the workshop.
Description:
During the class each participant will construct a spangenhelm constructed of EVA foam. Instruction on the best tools, materials, and techniques will be taught and practiced. Advanced techniques such as angled cuts and the use of contact cement will be covered. This will be very hands-on and participants will finish the session with enough experience to confidently craft items out of EVA foam.

Puppet-maker, Stacey Gordon, will lead you through creating a flat-patterned moving-mouth puppet head that you can take with you to flesh out into a full-on puppet. Be prepared to use hot glue guns!
Create a one of a kind wooden fictional creature using acrylic paints, gemstones and unique papers.
Description:
You will be supplied with a creature body and your choices of legs or arms as well as wings. We will be supplying you with acrylic paints, gemstones, and various other art supplies to make your creature. Everything from the creature to an apron will be provided as well as instructions from a professional artist. We look forward to seeing you!
Crochet an amigurumi character from your favorite book: Sherlock, Harry Potter, Frankenstein, Moby Dick, Hunchback, etc. Players need to know how to do single crochet stitches and work in the round.
