Every month BGDF.com runs a Game Design Showdown. It's time to run this in real time! Make a game from concept to prototype before lunch? No problem! We'll start by laying out the design restriction and then you and your team will receive a prototyping kit. With a time-limit to craft your rules and prototype, will you be able to make the core of a great game? Followed by voting by judges and participants alike, winners will gain glory and some game-related prizes. **Note that event cost is to partially cover the cost of the prototyping kits provided. All participants will also receive a kit of their own at the end of the event**

Description:
We have assembled enough identical game parts kits for all the teams in the event, with some special and awesome surprises inside. For the first part of the event, teams will create a brand new game out of all the compoents within, with some thematic direction from the special ingredients. After that, each team will present their new game idea to the rest of the group in 3 minute pitches, possibly showing off some of the gameplay. The room will stay open after for people to hang around, discuss their games, and try out the other prototypes!
