Librarians we are going to discuss how to select games by age level, where to find these games, marketing your programs, and how to make the games available.
Basic social games, we will explore the use of games in the classroom and other learning environments to develop language arts, remedial math, social skills and higher order thinking skills.
Gamification of education involves using gaming elements to alter learning and engagement. Students can be motivated through paths of mastery and autonomy commonly found in gaming technologies.
We will explore methods of incorporating gaming into lesson planning. This seminar will focus on topics in mathematics taught at the High School and College levels.
