A lesson on basic motions & techniques for spinning poi, including slots, butterflies, & corkscrews. All participants will receive a set of sock poi to keep.
Description:
Using a similar format from previous years, this event will spend about thirty minutes going through the basic motions of poi spinning. The second half of the class will focus more on building up one's comfort while spinning, combining basic motions, and applying the general principals of dancing to the specifics of using poi. Bring your own poi if you like, but every registered participant may keep their set of sock poi!
