Summary:
Prepare your body and mind to face fierce competition using yoga, breathwork and mindfulness meditation. Increase mental clarity and improve energy.
Description:
Your passion for gaming often keeps you seated for hours, but too much sitting can wreak havoc on your body and mind. The lack of movement coupled with poor posture and intense mental focus can lead to muscular and joint discomfort, including tight hips, short hamstrings, a stiff back, strained eyes and headaches. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to harness your inner power and prepare your body and mind to face fierce competition through the practice of yoga, pranayama (aka breathwork) and mindfulness meditation. Activities will center on cultivating increased mental clarity and developing laser-sharp focus. You will also leave with a simple yoga sequence you can practice anytime to give you a boost of energy when hours of competition leave you drained.
