Something has befallen U-19. When she returned to port the dockworkers found the crew fused with the submarine into an amalgam of metal and flesh. As the unlucky crew of U-19 you will find out what.
Description:
Something has befallen U-19. When she returned to port the dockworkers found the crew transformed, fused with the submarine into an undifferentiated amalgam of metal and flesh. Only one thing aboard remains recognizably human: the mad, raving head of her commander Kapitanleutnant Weisbach. U-19 still works however, the throbbing meat meshed with machinery does the same work as the sailors did in life, it just needs humans to direct it. The German admiralty has assigned a skeleton crew to U-19 and sent you out to resume unrestricted submarine warfare on any ships aiding the allies. As terrible a blasphemy as U-19 is you will soon find that the allies have also been quite active on the occult front of the Great War.

The Real Thing is a self-contained, story-driven, pen-and-paper roleplaying game inspired by the music of Faith No More.
Description:
Specifically, we have drawn significant story elements and inspiration from Faith No More’s album from 1989 entitled The Real Thing. It was groundbreaking at the time, and remains one of the best albums ever created, in our humble opinions. More to the point, however, is the fact that many of the songs revolve around similar themes and ideas, making it a perfect album around which to craft a concept RPG. While the concept for the story is grounded in the music and words from the album of the same name, it also pulls in themes and other elements from other Faith No More titles. Song titles and lyrics from every Faith No More album are included judiciously as a gesture of fandom and respect for one of our favorite artists.
