After the fall of Adamant Fortress, the Inquisitor has sent a group of Sister Nightingale’s agents along with Warden Stroud back to Weisshaupt, in the hopes to forge a stronger alliance against the Venatori threat. With them travels the man known as Thom Rainier, sentenced by the Inquisitor to face his long-overdue Joining. However, the towering Grey Warden stronghold hides many secrets, and the wastes of the Anderfels harbor dangers beyond that of the Blight. (Set during the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition--expect spoilers for that game. No game system experience necessary; rules taught.)

Why they are here and how they may escape is the thrust of their adventure. For the characters beginning their adventuring lives, this first chapter helps to mold an interesting backstory.
