In this scenario, PCs face an unusual challenge: transporting the bound, yet still aware, mortal remains of a cleric of Justicia to a mystical conflux to defeat his old ally now aligned with Chaos.
Description:
The Shudder Mountains have seen a great many things transpire in the shadows of their peaks. One of the saddest stories is the tale of Zugun and Boak, fast friends and loyal servants of Law. It is said that two finer goodly servants could not be found. Unfortunately, the temptations of Chaos lie around every corner and eventually Boak fell prey to honeyed promises of fell servants. Zugun tried to save his friend, who was like a brother to him, but his compassion was his undoing. Unable to destroy his friend, Zugun was imprisoned by his former friend, although not before Boak was dealt a grievous hurt. Now Boak stirs again and only his friend and former comrade can foil his schemes. Set in the Shudder Mountains for 5th level characters.
