The lone curate emerges from the altar's umbra, his long black robes undulating strangely as he walks down the sanctum's aisle, his rosary still. The candlelight flickers. Aberrant shadows follow in his wake, dancing upon the walls grinning from ear to ear, tormenting your lucid thoughts; and amidst the soft wails of the outside tempest, the priest's mouth opens with an impish grin asking, “why do you look so disquieted child? Surely, you know that you are safe in this holy place... Nothing can harm you here amidst the watchful eyes of god...”
