This is the Origins & GenCon KotD special event. In addition to a diverse series of directives presented to them by King Josef Calvarion I, our heroes will have opportunities to undertake advanced training (new feats), equipment procurement (mastercraft & magic items), and admission to some of the more esoteric professions (prestige classes). All players MUST have a pre-existing KotD character of any level that has played in a minimum of one module prior to this event, NO pre-generated characters will be provided.

This is an adventure in the setting of the Supernatural television show, with the players playing pre-generated Hunters other than Dean & Sam Winchester (there are some canonical characters available, such as Bobby Singer & Jo Harvelle.) Although this scenario opens in medias res with an action scene and combat with the Monster of the Week is likely to happen at the end of the adventure, the adventure itself is primarily a mystery: the rug is going to get pulled out from under the characters' feet, and they'll have to figure out the twist to the situation they find themselves in. Not to mention Hunter luck tends to Suck Out Loud...

In this Buffyverse adventure, the players will be playing a group of "Scoobies" on the smaller Hellmouth in Cleveland. The first 30-60 minutes of the slot will be spent creating characters from partial pre-gen templates and covering basic rules/mechanics, but the focus of the session will be roleplay and storytelling, not combat and mechanics. Players will choose from an Archetype and a Template to create their character, such as a Geek or Jock and a Slayer or Werewolf, etc. Although many combinations are available, some work better together than others (this process will be explained in full at the gaming table.)
