This adventure takes place during the Nguyen Dynasty. This dynasty
ruled central Vi?t Nam from the ancient city of Hu?. Politics and political machinations are dangerous, not only to those who play the games, but often to bystanders. The enemies of the Nguyen Dynasty have been looking for an opportunity to wrest power from them. The Chinese are looking southward. The Cham seek independence, ruling families from the north look to expand south and ruling families in the south look to
expand north. The young Prince is viewed as vulnerable. One enemy, at least, has decided that now is the time to remove the Prince from the board by any means necessary. Even if one of those means is consorting with demons. The slayer is called upon to fulfill her duty to her lord and save his son.
