The heroes have used their contacts to secure employment as the eyes and ears, and muscle if necessary, for a visiting group of Guild Mages. The mages are aware of the delicate situation in the city but all of their plans for a gentle nudge towards allowing more magic may go awry as a mysterious bard arrives and sows dissent amongst the city's youth.
