An automated distress call brings your crew to an M-Class planet in an uncharted star system that is orbiting an unstable wormhole! Will you expand scientific understanding or even survive?
A shakedown cruise quickly becomes a showdown for the crew of the Federation Starship Aramis NCC-52420 when DS9 receives a distress call from beyond the Wormhole.
The Corvette Project starts in the Star Trek universe two years after the conclusion of the Dominion War. The premise is that while the Federation and allies won, the devastation to Star Fleet's vessels and personnel left the fleet on the verge of being unable to fulfill it's duties inside the Federation. A plan was formed to quickly produce smaller, easily built, multi-purpose ships with a very small crew requirement to handle the more mundane tasks that will free up the large ships. The players are assigned to one of these new ships named the USS Riggs, stationed in a relatively quiet part of the quadrant. Of course it turns out anything but and the players will have to find ways of dealing with a threat to the Federation in a ship meant for support missions.

Captain's Log, Stardate 5928.5, Captain Gillian Brooke commanding: “We've been ordered by command to bring Dr. Galen Sutra back to Earth Spacedock from Regula 1. From what I understand, he is instrumental in the completion of Starfleet's, “great experiment”. I only hope my crew is up to the challenge.”

Captains Log; Day 3 of Mission: We advanced to the bridge of the Bird of Prey, Demeter. The Tribbles have eaten my First Officer and Gunner's Mate as well as our entire store of food for the next three months. Wait... at the door... they are coming...
Captains Log, Stardate 2531.4. It's been nearly 37 years since the 3rd Borg incursion into Federation space and we are still picking up the pieces. Alliances are hard to find these days, and even harder to keep. Despite this, we have endured; but to what avail. If Starfleet is correct, there may yet again be a Borg presence in the Alpha quadrant. Our mission, to investigate this threat. I can only hope that my crew (you) are up to the challenge.
