However, this promise is overshadowed by the specter of defeat. There are legends of 'The One,' a sole Gauntlet survivor who ascended to the Circle of Twilight's influence. The quaint village of Thornwood, once filled with the laughter of children, has been replaced with worried whispers. Now, a clarion call for anyone who might be brave enough to plunder the ancient crypt. With the wealthy parents of one of the five missing children offering a 500gp reward, it would almost be foolish NOT to accept the mission.
