An irreverent, story-driven game of ordinary people with "powerful ambitions & poor impulse control."
Description:
Fiasco is inspired by cinematic tales of small time capers gone disastrously wrong – inspired by films like 'Blood Simple', 'Fargo', 'The Way of the Gun', 'Burn After Reading', and 'A Simple Plan'. During a game you will engineer and play out stupid, disastrous situations, usually at the intersection of greed, fear, and lust. It’s like making your own Coen brothers movie, in about the same amount of time it’d take to watch one. Nothing is required but your gumption in this character-driven romp through the world of criminal blunders, so get out your fanciest ski mask and your trusty woodchipper and come ready for fun.
You were supposed to live fast & die young. At least you lived fast. Years of actually paying bills later middle age is getting old & revisiting your glory days sounds better & better.
We got the gang together & we're living the dream! Well a version of it. Ok, a cramped bus, the smell of dirty socks, & the drummer's got a weird obsession with a skull weren't part of it.
Transhumanism deals with some real serious questions about what makes us human, equality, etc. This game doesn't. Play Fiasco where your landlord is an octopus & your best friend is an illegal AI.
