But does piracy require a bit more long-term planning? Soon, you’ll discover what it really takes to thrive as a pirate organization. The game will mainly use the alternative Dread system, with some house rules to reflect the setting and tone of the game. Character creation will break off a bit from the standard Dread method, and utilize a house rule inspired by Disco Elysium. The game will take place just before Season 1 of The Expanse. If you haven’t seen the show, I highly recommend you watch at least Season 1 prior to the game.
