Players will assume the roles of the Flash (Barry Allen), Black Canary (Dinah Lance), Hawkman (Katar Hol/Carter Hall), the Atom (Ray Palmer), and Aquaman (Arthur Curry). Always an extra character for a player with a fist full of generics and a dream, in this case, Red Tornado (John Smith). In order to test the fledgling Legion, the UP dispatches them to the planet Vyrga. The mission is to investigate a mysterious illness that infects people before it devastates the population.
Description:
The United Planets seeks to bring the Vyrga system into its fold. As the system has vast deposits of the stable element, Stellarium, the mission is considered vital. Stellarium is required to maintain the stability of RJ Brandes star drives. At his urging, the young Legion of Super-Heroes is sent to the planet to investigate a plague on the verge of devastating the populace. If a cure can be found, the UP President is convinced the planet will join the United Planets, but she is skeptical of the Legions ability to achieve the mission. Only upon Brandes insistence is the inexperienced Legion dispatched.
