Description:
This is a Weird War II Pacific Theater Scenario, based on Over the Wire material from the first edition. American and Japanese forces battle for a strategic island airfield that has traded hands several times. Only this time each have brought new terrifying weapons of war to aid them. Defender will setup a portion of their Detachment on the airfield as a garrison, while the rest is held in reserve. The attacker will deploy all of their forces in the jungle and try to storm the airfield before their reinforcements arrive.
The resources available in the Abothia Prime asteroid field have become known to an outside empire. Can the Pirate Barons who have been struggling to make the field their home repel Capital Ships?
A tongue in cheek introduction to the rules. Space gaming doesn't have to be expensive or time consuming. Families & teens encouraged to attend this event.
