Alpha Centauri III, 2241. 6 days after the start of the Dalek invasion, Terran Federation forces are reeling from the onslaught. After their defeat at the Carver Dome power station, TF Marines retreat towards the Guard armories at Baxter Dome. Approaching the armory defenses, they are intercepted by a sizeable Dalek force. Will the valiant humans punch through to join the Baxter defenses, or will they be exterminated by the sinister Daleks?
It’s Penguins vs. bears in the mind-boggling inter-polar battle. Penguins have home ice-shelf advantage but the Bears are ready to play. In this age of global warming, can the Penguins defend their turf? Use our combatants or bring a small (less than 12� in all dimensions) penguin or bear. We will supply the terrain (pillows, sheets, blankets, etc…) Pajamas for participants are optional but encouraged.

This event is designed to introduce new players to Skirmisher's "Little Orc Wars" and allows them to jump right into a scenario using them. Miniatures, firing catapults, and a complimentary set of quick-start rules for each player are provided.

Open to all players. 5 rounds Swiss style tournament with no final. Two armies desperately search for each other in the dim, fog laden morning. Suddenly the fog clears and the forces discover that they are closer to the enemy than they knew. Players bring order markers, wound markers, dice, cards, and a pre-drafted 400 point Heroscape army that does not exceed 26 spaces. There are no starting zones as players will take turns placing units anywhere on the battlefield. It is a chaotic and furious variant sure to please any level of player. Prizes awarded to the top four Heat of Battle finishers. Great way to meet your fellow Heroscapers.
