Twitch's ImpendingDuff will guide a family safe and friendly opportunity for your children to paint a miniature and learn about the wonderfully creative hobby! Duff will guide the students on the basics of a few tools, techniques and tricks as we paint a miniature. All materials will be provided and each student will take home the miniature they work on. Parents/Guardians are more than welcome to hang out with their kids. If Parents/Guardians would like to also paint a mini, please purchase a ticket for the class as well.

In this class, Twitch's ImpendingDuff will show you some tips and tricks to take your true metallics to another level. We arent talking about the standard base cote, wash and highlight. Make your TMM pop with depth and shading, concentrating on lighting and understanding reflection. (It is recommended you take my Intro to Glazing class, prior to this class, if you do not have a good, workable understanding of how to glaze acrylic paints.) Students are encouraged to bring a size 2 round synthetic brush.

Description:
Students will follow along while I help them get oriented with an airbrush's inner workings. Most people want to get into airbrushing, but are too worried they will break it or don't have the confidence to take the leap due to the cost and fear of the learning curve. I will show you how to properly care for your brush, break it down and explain each part and how to properly handle, clean and care for them as well as reassembly. I will then go over the tools you will need, including essentials and luxury tools that may not be needed, but may make life easier. Students will be provided a brush to handle, but will not take them home. You will receive a sponsored "goodie bag" of Badger Airbrush items to take with you.
