This class uses hands-on teaching to create 3D, six-sided objects from two silicon rubber molds using dice, meeples, terrain pieces, or even clay pieces.
Description:
Make a six-sided (3D), silicon rubber mold out of dice, meeples, pre-cast miniature terrain pieces, clay, or another non-licensed object you bring with you. Techniques will be taught for molding porous and non-porous objects, 6-sided molds, etc. The mold you make is yours to take home, though you have the opportunity to use it before you leave Gen Con in the resin or plaster casting classes taught by the same instructor. If you want to cast an object made of clay, fire or allow the object to air-dry completely before the class.
Make a silicon rubber mold using dice, meeples, terrain pieces, & other geeky objects. The mold is yours to take home or use in the resin and/or plaster casting classes.
Description:
Make a five-sided, silicon rubber mold out of dice, meeples, pre-cast miniature terrain pieces, or another non-licensed object you bring with you. Techniques will be taught for molding porous and non-porous objects, 6-sided molds, etc. The mold you make is yours to take home, though you have the opportunity to use it before you leave Gen Con in the resin or plaster casting classes taught by the same instructor.
