In this class, Twitch's ImpendingDuff (Neil Duffey) will teach you the basics of the very important, light, in miniature painting. He will go over how to set a light source, ambient lighting and other aspects, then demonstrate how to set the light with your paint and create more dramatic stories. Students should bring a size 2 paint brush. A miniature will be provided for the students to use and then take home. Paint will be provided but students are welcome to bring their own.

10 figures will be displayed on a beautiful wooden base made by a talented woodworker, There will also be a certificate with the signatures of the participating artists! The display and certificate will be sold for auction on Saturday in the auction room. All proceeds go to Gen Con's 2023 charity partnership.
This class uses hands-on teaching to create 3D, six-sided objects from two silicon rubber molds using dice, meeples, terrain pieces, or even clay pieces.
Description:
Make a six-sided, silicon rubber mold out of dice, meeples, pre-cast miniature terrain pieces (all provided by the instructor), or another non-licensed object you bring with you. If you want to make a mold of an object made of clay, it must be completely hard (fired or air-dried) before it can be used to make a mold. The mold you make is yours to take home, though it can be used before you leave Gen Con in the resin casting classes taught by the same instructor.
