Class designed for painters having a basic knowledge and practice in painting miniatures. Participants receive both a miniature and a paintbrush to take home. This class is focused on leading participants in learning the steps to creating Glowing Effects. Participants will learn techniques that can be applied to create stunning "Glow Effects" that can be used for many purposes in Miniature Art. GLOW can create "Contrast and Volume", create vibrant illusions for magic items, pump the volumes of naturally glowing objects like lava, fire, insects, lamps etc., give a point of direction to your OSL (object source lighting) and the list goes on. "Glow"; experience a new level of miniature painting expression.

Make a silicon rubber mold using dice, meeples, terrain pieces, & other geeky objects. The mold is yours to take home or use in the resin and/or plaster casting classes.
Description:
Make a five-sided, silicon rubber mold out of dice, meeples, pre-cast miniature terrain pieces, or another non-licensed object you bring with you. Techniques will be taught for molding porous and non-porous objects, 6-sided molds, etc. The mold you make is yours to take home, though you have the opportunity to use it before you leave Gen Con in the resin or plaster casting classes taught by the same instructor. If you want to cast an object made of clay, fire or allow the object to air-dry completely before the class.
