In this class, Twitch's ImpendingDuff will show you some tips and tricks to take your true metallics to another level. We arent talking about the standard base cote, wash and highlight. Make your TMM pop with depth and shading, concentrating on lighting and understanding reflection. (It is recommended you take my Intro to Glazing class, prior to this class, if you do not have a good, workable understanding of how to glaze acrylic paints.) Students are encouraged to bring a size 2 round synthetic brush.

This class is focused on leading participants through learning the steps on creating a Glowing Effect. Participants will learn techniques that can be applied to create stunning Glow Effects to be used for many purposes in Miniature Art. GLOW can create Contrast and Volume, or vibrant illusions for magic items, these techniques can pump the values of naturally glowing objects like lava, fire, insects, lamps etc., it can give a point of reference to your OSL (object source lighting) and the list goes on. "Glow" experience a new level of miniature painting expression.

Pieces MUST be dropped off either Thursday 12 Noon to 5 PM or Friday 10 AM to 6 PM at MHE HQ, on the second floor Serpentine Lobby, just across from Sagamore Ballroom 1. At that time they will be verified as valid. Please make sure you have read the rules and submitted your entry form prior to dropping off your miniature.
