Robber barons, speculators, society ladies, and unsavory individuals will gather within the opulent confines of the 1865 Morris-Butler House, hoping for a chance to change their circumstances.
It is March 1870 in the Steam and Sorcery world of Castle Falkenstein. The glitterati of New Europa are in Paris for the opening of the French Season, and you have been invited to the Grand Vernal Ball. Nobles and gentry, both human and Faerie, will mingle with sorcerers, scientists, artists and demimondaines. Valuable contacts will be made tonight, and perhaps an Assignation or two.
