We all know the story, but the original, darker version never made it into a Disney movie. This is a world where glass is so expensive and rare that anything like a full-size mirror might be thought to have magical properties. Where dwarves are shunned by society, where a fourteen year old girl can be a pawn in a political marriage, and where the cold winter chill affects everything. The handsome Prince from the neighboring kingdom has arrived at the castle and effectively seized the throne. With him is the Princess Snow White, the fairest of them all, long thought dead. Their wedding will take place in 3 hours, at which time the Prince has decreed that the Evil Queen will dance in red hot irons until she dies. But her advisor has insisted that the wedding party have a moral and religious duty to stay with her until the appointed time. The "happy" couple have reluctantly agreed.
