In a small town in Oklahoma, friends and family have gathered for the funeral of the notorious gentleman thief, Edward Hannigan, gone too early from this mortal coil. 1972—The USA and USSR are deep into a cold war. Nixon is fresh off visits to Moscow and China: the first US president to visit communist China. The world pauses on June 6th as Ziggy Stardust, international rock star, releases his new album. The release party is at the infamous Globe discotech in West Berlin, an exclusive club near The Berlin Wall where many of Europe's elite play. Only the most influential people get access to the Globe tonight.
266 AD. Rome is split into three empires: The Gallic Empire (Gaul, Britannia, Hispania); The Palmyrene Empire (eastern provinces of Syria, Palestina and Aegyptus); The Roman Empire proper (Italian-centered lands between them). The Romano-British population has increased and is mostly at ease with Roman customs in the cities. With Rome split into three empires, this may be an ideal time for the native British tribes to take back their island.

December 24th, 1914, Belgium - In an abandoned bunker on the edge of the Great War, British and German soldiers have both taken shelter from a violent blizzard.
