Humanity is on the run, the fleet is desperate for supplies, and the species is on the edge of extinction. Galactica is leading what is left of humanity on a desperate flight to find the lost thirteenth colony on a strange planet called Earth in a region of space only Admiral Adama knows of. If the fleet cannot make it, the Cylons will succeed in their plan to wipe out mankind once and for all. Before the flight can continue though, supplies must be found. Scout ships have reported a small planet around an unstable star. Dr. Baltar says there should be enough time to harvest needed supplies before the system becomes too dangerous. In the interest of safety President Roslin and Admiral Adama have decided to send a limited harvest team to explore and collect whatever supplies they can.
