The Addams Family clashes with the seemingly 'normal' family of their daughter's fiancé. Will the two families ever get along? Or will it be a feud for the ages? They're scary and they're spooky- You will larp as either a member of the Addams' Family or a member of the fiancé's family. No canon Addams' will be appearing as player characters. (ie. you won't be Gomez or Morticia, you'll be original Addamses.) The larp will be played in a series of timed 'episodes' to capture that sitcom feeling. We will use LARP calibration and safety techniques. Costuming encouraged. Inspired by media like Wind in the Willows, Brambly Hedge, Mouseguard, NIMH, and The Borrowers, this is a cozy game where players will play as woodland creatures who are visiting their friends for a party. Expect light character sheets, friendship, and familial connections with low-stakes & light-hearted conflicts that are easily resolved. We'll play some whimsical games in character, and costumes are encouraged, but not required.

It features an asymmetrical play experience about humans interacting with robots with artificial intelligence. Participants playing AI will experience learning from the examples of the human with whom they interact. Participants playing humans will workshop a character who has found reason to engage in a focus group for testing a companion AI. This game is thoughtful, introspective, and often emotional. Come with an open mind. Content is likely to include: power in relationships, identity invalidation, emotional dependence, loss and grieving, memory erasure, and sustained one-on-one play. We use LARP calibration techniques to ensure consent and communication.
