Weird Giraffe Games and Double Exposure invite you to a special launch celebration of Wicked & Wise, a new trick taking game debuting at Gen Con 2022!
Description:
Dragons compete in a variety of ways, but one of their favorite ways to compete is by playing trick-taking games. Players are either the dragons who are playing a trick-taking game OR they're a mouse allied with a particular dragon to help manipulate the trick-taking game. Over the course of three rounds, each team of mouse and dragon fight over tricks, treasures, and coins to see which team ends up on top!
Build the Other World according to the fairies' wishes in this card drafting and tableu-building game.
Description:
In the Irish myth cycles, the land of Tir na nOg is the realm of the Otherworld, the place where the Fairies lived and heroes visited on quests. It was a place just outside the realm of man, off to the west, where there was no illness or death or time, but only happiness and beauty. Players will take on the role of questing heroes, building Tir na nOg according to Fairies' tricky rules. Each round, players will lay claim to cards in a unique straddle draft, placing their custom marker across multiple cards. After all players have placed their markers, they will draft a card and then play a card according to the rules of their tableau. At the end of 5 rounds, the player who has best pleased the Fairies will be invited to stay in Tir na nOg and enjoy eternal life.
