Each round a different player will take on the role of Auction Master, setting the opening bid and guiding the auction's rules. The other players gain partial information about the items before bidding. Between rounds, players may sell items for gold, or keep them for victory points. The game ends after all vaults have been auctioned off -- players then earn victory points for items they kept, and bonus VP for items their contracted heroes are looking for.
